Luxury villa with private beach and mooring dock in Elounda
In one of the most beautiful areas of the island, the prestigious elite tourist resort of Elounda this property stands out for more than one reason. This state of the art villa stands on three stories. Entrance to the house is from the 1st floor. On this floor, there is a guest WC and a large open plan kitchen/living/dining room with a good sized veranda in front of it overlooking the sea. A marble staircase leads up to the 2nd floor where there are two double bedrooms, a shared bathroom and a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom/Jacuzzi. Each bedroom has its own private balcony. On the lower floor, there is an open-plan living room/dining room with kitchenette, a master bedroom with an en-suite marble bathroom with hydro massage, a Sauna room with shower and a WC. From this floor, there is access to the olive garden, the swimming pool, the Jacuzzi, the pool deck, a dining area built around a tree and eventually the sea. Access to this house is very good and the resorts of Plaka and Elounda are both about two kilometers from this position. The cosmopolitan tourist town of Agios Nikolaos is 12 kilometers away whilst the international airport of Heraklion is about an hour drive away. Agios Nikolaos is the capital of the county Lasithi and is located at the Mirabello Bay, north-east Crete, only 45 mins away from the international airport of Heraklion. Geographically the town is well protected from strong winds allowing sea sports and swimming nearly all year round. Although Agios Nikolaos has a population of less than 20,000 it has a several banks, supermarkets, shops of every kind, doctors, a modern hospital of high standard, public swimming pool and tennis courts, yacht marina, harbour, cinema, theatre, gyms, a 9-hole golf course, schools ranging from nurseries to 6-level high school and generally all the amenities you would expect to find in a modern European town. The microclimate is one of the best in Greece and the moderate temperatures rarely exceed 30c in summer or fall below 15c in wintertime. This wonderful dry climate together with the natural beauty of the area has attracted most of the high-class hotels of Greece to operate here.
