Roustika is a small, picturesque, traditional village in the municipality of Nikiforos Fokas, approximately 18 km from the town of Rethymnon.

In the village, there are famous monasteries and churches and many other sights to enjoy and discover such as the museum of traditional costumes, where costumes from all over Greece are exhibited. The village generally has great architecture from the Venetian period.

Roustika is an ideal place for nature walks through superb gorges with abundant vegetation. There are excellent short routes all of which are of unique natural beauty.
